First-Aid Site Attendants in Canada
All employers in Canada are responsible for providing a first-aid kit, a first-aid attendant and training to its employees for safety. Employers need to keep in mind that many potential situations or medical emergencies can occur in the workplace that have the potential to cause injuries and fatalities. Sometimes, it is difficult to train workers in first-aid and get certifications. Also, even with all of our efforts to work safely, medical emergencies, accidents and injuries do occur. Therefore, it is best to hire a reliable company to provide you with certified and well-trained first-aid attendants.
Aimpoint Security Solutions Inc. offers experienced, well-trained and highly skilled first-aid attendants in serving BC, Alberta, Ontario and the surrounding areas. All our attendants are certified OFA 1, 2 and 3, i.e., Occupational First Aid Level 2 or Level 3 certification. We can provide both BST and AST guards with handcuffs as well as OFA 1, 2 and 3. These officers are hand-picked by our President and must meet a very high standard. All of our security officers have been certified and are licensed by the Security Program Division of Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Responsibilities of a First-Aid Attendant
At Aimpoint Security Solutions Inc., we ensure that all our first-aid attendants understand their responsibilities and fulfill them to the best of their abilities.
Our first-aid attendants are entrusted with the following responsibilities:
Record reported signs and symptoms of injuries and/or exposures.
If injuries are serious or beyond the scope of an attendant's training, refer injured workers to medical treatment.
Prompt in providing injured workers with a level of care within the scope of each attendant's training.
We ensure that our first-aid attendants are always available at the worksites to provide treatment as quickly as possible if a worker is injured. Our attendants are not assigned any work tasks that could interfere with their availability to provide immediate first aid treatment.

If you hire us, we will also take care that you have procedures in place to provide proper coverage for absences. If our attendants are on leave, we provide you with a substitute first aid.
